Impressions of the preparation of a funfair.
October 2007 – Bocholt (Germany)
Boredom, thirst, rainy weather, an old Ricoh KR-5 and a roll of film with 36 photos.
Two hours of freezing and commiserating. Fortunately only friendly people at this fair, so I’m allowed to photograph them freely. Melancholy pervades the city on this day.
The wild mob with the insatiable thirst for pleasure is already lurking and scratching behind the rainy windows and there is still so much to do …
I’m getting too poetic!
Why did I take pictures in the first place?
